EV Charging for Australian Hospitality Venues

EV drivers park outside.
They spend inside.
You keep the revenue.

Install a commercial EV fast charger at your venue with zero upfront cost. The charger services its own repayment from day one — and sends paying customers through your door while it does it.

The Opportunity

EV drivers plan their stops around charging infrastructure. A typical session runs 30 to 60 minutes, long enough for a meal, a drink, or both.

That revenue flows to venues with chargers. That venue should be yours.

"A 30-minute charge session is a round of drinks. A 60-minute session is a meal and drinks. The charger doesn't just pay for itself — it fills seats."

How It Works

Install once. Earn every day.

We handle everything. You collect the revenue.

01

We assess and install

Voltpark manages the entire process end to end. Site assessment, council requirements, certified electrician installation, compliance, and commissioning. From signed agreement to live charger: typically 4 to 8 weeks.

02

Drivers charge. You get paid.

Up to three EVs charging simultaneously. Drivers pay per kWh via tap-and-go or app. Every dollar goes directly to you — no revenue share, no commission.

03

The charger covers itself.

The equipment is financed over 48 months through a commercial chattel mortgage. At 6 sessions a day on a single port, the charger generates enough to cover its own repayment and return over $1,100 a month to your venue. The other two ports are pure upside.

Ongoing OCPP platform management, remote monitoring, and fault alerts are handled by Voltpark. Most issues are diagnosed and resolved remotely — without a site visit, and without your team being involved.

Your Venue Gets

Four things that happen when you
install a Voltpark charger.

01

New customers

EV drivers search for chargers before they leave home. A Voltpark charger puts your venue on PlugShare, ABRP, and Google Maps overnight.

02

Longer stays

A fast charge runs 25 to 45 minutes. Wait time is revenue. Right now you're giving it to whoever has a charger nearby.

03

A new revenue stream

At 6 sessions a day on a single port, the charger nets your venue around $1,118/month$13,416/year from a bay that was earning nothing.

04

Zero burden on your team

Voltpark handles everything and monitors the charger remotely 24/7. If something goes wrong, we fix it. Your team never thinks about it.

The Numbers

Run your own numbers.

See what a charger is worth to your venue.

Adjust the inputs to match your venue. The model uses conservative assumptions — one port in use, real-world performance at busy venues typically runs higher.

FAQ

Common questions.

You probably have a few.

What if we don't get enough EV drivers?
At just 3 sessions per day — half our conservative estimate — the charger still covers its own repayment and generates positive cash flow. Installing a charger puts your venue on every EV mapping app in the country, attracting drivers who wouldn't have otherwise visited.
Who handles maintenance and breakdowns?
Voltpark does. The charger is remotely monitored 24/7 through our OCPP management platform. The Thunder 120C supports firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates and remote fault diagnosis; most issues are resolved without a site visit. If a hardware issue requires a physical response, we send a certified technician.
What does the finance look like and who's responsible for it?
The finance is a commercial chattel mortgage arranged through our broker network. The venue owns the asset from day one. Standard commercial credit checks apply. Approval typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
Is there a revenue share or ongoing commission to Voltpark?
No. Voltpark earns its margin on the hardware supply and installation. Once the charger is commissioned, 100% of the charging revenue belongs to the venue. No ongoing commissions, no revenue split, no hidden fees beyond the $100/month OCPP platform management fee.
How long does installation take?
From signed agreement to live charger, typically 4 to 8 weeks depending on site complexity and council requirements. Voltpark manages the full process through our certified electrician network.
What happens at the end of the 48 months?
You own the charger outright. At that point the repayment obligation ends and you keep 100% of revenue with no ongoing fixed cost beyond the platform fee. At 6 sessions per day that's approximately $1,565/month gross profit.
Which EVs does it work with?
Every EV currently sold in Australia. The Thunder 120C supports CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB/T, NACS, Type 1 AC, and Type 2 AC, covering BYD, Tesla (with adaptor), Kia, Hyundai, MG, Volvo, Polestar, Mercedes, BMW, and others.
